Chickpea “Cookie Dough”

If you want a healthy alternative to cookie dough, and like chickpeas then this is a deliciously morish recipe. Shove some in your banana nice cream, smoothie bowls or literally chow down with a spoon!

Ingredients

1 can of Chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

¼ cup of maple syrup

2/3 cup of peanut butter (smooth plain peanut butter)

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp vegan milk of your choice

A pinch of seasalt

2 tbsp of dark chocolate chips (you could use cacao nibs too if you wanted)

Step 1

Grab your food processor and add all ingredients except milk and chocolate chips.

Step 2

Slowly add in milk and continue to blend.

Step 3

Mix in chocolate chips and its ready to eat! You can keep it in the fridge if you don’t eat it all in one go.
